Together with my friend and colleague Coen van de Ven accompanied by beautiful pictures of Johannes De Bruycker, I did the story of the youth in Srebrenica; dreaming in the ruins. It was published in four languages and spread over their communication channels in most Balkan countries with a big cumulative reach.

Young people who grew up in the aftermath of the massacres 20 years ago in the once-affluent Bosnian spa town of Srebrenica have little to look forward to but the chance of escape.
